today I learned C.Difficile isn't "dee-fee-sill" but actually "dee-fee-ke-lee" from latin roots. That and I sat through the best tutorial ever and wanted an extra hour of it. Next monday then.

there was a programme on the radio yesterday debating the issue of happiness. Its even part of the American constitution; it being the land of opportunity and all that jazz you know? But philosophers have found/thought/mindfucked about the 'pursuit of happiness' and found that it is ever elusive. And apparently the more one dwells on searching for happiness the greater the likelihood one might be mired in unhappiness; or discontent more like. Apparently.

I can't remember where I read this. But it goes something like: sometimes you have to throw in the towel and call that 'reoccuring flaw' a character trait. Someone will love it.

the take-home-WORD for me today was: Retrospectoscope. Cool gadget that. Defense mechanism of some sort I guess.
