8 weeks

Yes. It has been 8 weeks of lectures, weekly PBL sessions, 2 lab sessions and a solitary =P MMS visit since the start of semester 1 at IMU. As the raya break has finally arrived, and a trip to penang on tow, maybe its time for some minor reflection. At dinner several nights back, semi fancy at Italiennes, someone posed the question: "What are we celebrating anyway? We seem to have had dinners like these almost on a weekly basis". On the surface level perhaps we're prematurely practicing dinner celebrations which should be reserved after summatives and EOS' for the next 5 semesters. But maybe we're having a mini-celebration that we've gelled this much since orientation started, made new + good friends and shared bits of the IMU experience together, friendship. As I always say (or think more like it): "To good food, and good company". I'll blog about the penang trip later and leave you with some pictures now.

Goofing around at the MMS after some actual productive moments. Its Ben, IMU skeleton and Mr Stupid Grin.

Ben looking very junior lecturer-ish =P.

An actual cross-section of a brain for you to go "ewwwwwwwwww" about haha

Whats the matter? Cat got your tongue?

Michelle + tongue, tongue-less head replica dude, ME =D

Dedicated to Von and Miss Woolley. Ah the IB Bio days. Read the processes in order von haha

Happy Diwali to all those celebrating, especially Peeks. The picture is of a big 'Kolam' taken from the 3rd floor made of coloured rice.

'Barney and Friends' from the HipHop competition. Shiao Wen's in the centre and black. Barney(Darren) is most right of the picture. They won the competition so hats off to them.

Ching Li, Forgot-her-name, Shin Yee, and Shiao Wen about to dance it out for 'Best Female Dancer'. Shiao Wen won it naturally. GO M206!

Jan doing some 'Bahasa Kebangsaan' homework. He's as interested in Historical stuff as much as Me, Von and Qib. International students who've never taken Malay at least at SPM/O Levels, or those who didn't obtain a C6 have to take Bahasa Kebangsaan. He's Singaporean btw, and I think his Chinese will surpass mine several hundred..thousand times over.

Translate into English. Haha. I find this amusing. Tsk. Bad Mervin. Those who took Malay will appreciate the humour.

Fill in the blanks. Don't worry Jan, I'm not mocking you. I got 7/100 for mandarin before i switched to A1 Malay. =P

Look after my heart? <3

Selamat Hari Raya and Happy Diwali people =)
