red painted. pearl colored.

I had the oddest day last Friday; woke up; put on a shirt; a sweater and a jacket and left the house to a chilly morning. Waited for the 73 bus at 7.51 a.m. that passes the GP place and looked forward to a half-day session of vampirism/phlebotomy. 2 hours in and I realised my bunch of keys was missing from my pocket =(; it wasn't in my bag, or on the floor, or anywhere in the GP surgery I had been to during that timeframe. I think I dropped them on the bus. So I gave a huge sigh: siiiiiiiiiiiiighhh =( ; and resigned myself to calling the bus company and re-duplicating a new copy if I had to and to calling ben/mich to borrow their keys; put the thoughts up on a top shelf and concentrated on the needles and veins and patients ahead.

As I was waiting outside during one consultation; this cheerfully smiling old lady came through the entrance and walked up the desk; she took hold of my arm and said "I remember you well young man =) ; here's some ginger bread for everyone; you make sure you take some during your break ok?", then she patted me on the shoulder and left. And just like that everything felt alleviated; that made my morning. It was the old woman from the other day.

Then my day ended; at 1ish in the afternoon; pate filled roll in my tummy; some personally pleasing reviews in tow; and a gnarly wind tagging along as I waited for the bus home. Went into the first 73 that came, moved to the top deck to my usual seat behind the stop buzzer and thought about sorting that key business proper. Then I looked to my left; and wedged between the seat and the bus wall was a MERVIN keychain and my bunch of keys =). Maybe its truly coincidental or maybe it was luck; but BigGuy making His presence known me thinks =).

s mentioned something last night that stayed with me. Concept. Its about the concept.

Anw some old pics and older pics =):
