At a retreat recently; a task required us to select 5 core values from a list of adjectives. Just 5. Somewhat like a variation summing up one's life principles. And those are mine. Each requires elaboration I know; in order to have a semblance of my own psyche; but I thought I'd just jot them down somewhere - 5 simple words which I hold in great regard; reflecting principles in a sense, because without adhering and upholding principles; a man cannot become very much else.

My father used to tell me when I was little that - God is mysterious. That His influence in the course of one's life may be unfathomable at times; but carrying with it always, a reason. And regardless whether that is revealed today, tomorrow or never at all, that one should always take comfort that that divine influence is always; always coupled with Love; and our growth in mind.

During lit class on Friday, there were particular responses by Dr. JP and Dr. Achike during the forum that I remember fondly: that in practicing medicine his belief in God was utterly shattered; because it was replaced by the reality of God in our lives, and how one becomes humbled by life and existence and the gratefulness of divine grace. And I think this is my wee little still ongoing puzzle piece summary =). Because J and C and designedtoconnect and onelife and the sw and so so many other things have given me enough pieces to attempt my own incomplete conclusions =).
